Blepharoplasty?
Blepharoplasty is surgery that addresses excess eyelid skin or selected fat deposits around the eyes. Upper eyelid surgery may reduce overhanging skin, while lower eyelid surgery can address some under-eye bags by repositioning or removing fat and, when appropriate, excess skin.
It is not a treatment for every cause of dark circles, puffiness, or a tired appearance. Brow position, eyelid support, dry eyes, and other eye conditions can change the recommendation. Some change is possible, particularly with lower eyelid surgery. Your surgeon will discuss your existing shape, eyelid support, the proposed result, and the risk of an unwanted change in position.
