Understanding the treatment
What Is
Fat Grafting?
Fat grafting, also called fat transfer, moves small amounts of your own fat from one area to another. Fat is collected using liposuction, prepared, and carefully placed where additional volume is wanted. Depending on suitability, it may be considered for facial hollows, selected contour concerns, or modest breast enhancement.
Some transferred fat is naturally reabsorbed, so the early appearance is not the final result and another session may be needed. The amount that survives varies between patients and treatment areas. Consultation considers both the donor area and the area receiving fat, including the risks specific to that location.
Is it right for you?
Start with
your concern
—not a

package.
Your consultation explores what is bothering you, whether this treatment fits your needs, and when another option may be more appropriate.
THIS MAY BE WORTH EXPLORING IF
My cheeks look less full than they used to.
I would like to discuss a hollow or uneven area.
I prefer to explore using my own tissue for added volume.
I want a modest enhancement rather than a dramatic size change.
I have enough donor fat and can allow time for the result to settle.
Limited donor fat, significant loose skin, active illness, or expectations of an exact retained volume may make another approach more appropriate.
What may improve
Benefits connected
to your goals.
Your own tissue.
Fat transfer uses tissue taken from your body rather than a synthetic filler or implant.
Targeted volume.
Placement can be planned around selected hollows or contour differences.
Potential lasting fullness.
Fat that survives can persist, although ageing and weight changes continue to affect appearance.
A measured enhancement.
The discussion centres on the degree of change that feels right for your features or proportions.

Pricing follows
the plan—not
the other way
around.
Your quote depends on the donor and receiving areas, complexity, anaesthesia, and facility needs. The amount of work at both sites influences the plan.
Ask what is included in tests, garments, medicines, and follow-up, and how any later transfer session would be charged. No exact retained volume or one-session result should be assumed.

Frequently asked questions
Some transferred fat can remain long term, but not all of it survives. The retained volume varies, and future weight changes and ageing can change the appearance.
Fat grafting involves fat collection as well as injection, with recovery at both sites. Fillers use an injectable product and have different risks, duration, and suitability; neither is automatically better for every concern.
Possibly. Your body absorbs some of the grafted fat, and a second session may be considered once the first result has settled. An exact retention percentage cannot be promised for you.
It adds volume, so it does not address every cause of sagging or excess skin. Available donor fat and safe tissue capacity also limit the increase; another operation may better match your goal.
Your own tissue avoids some product-related issues, but collection and injection still carry surgical and blood-vessel risks. The receiving area and technique matter considerably.
